About

In a world where we are bombarded by news footage of tragedies, television programming based around horrific murders or walking dead people, and movies produced with giant budgets and big name stars in HD and 3D depicting the end of the world as we know it, I find it difficult to shield myself from the onslaught of negativity.
(Just writing about all that stuff caused my chest to tighten!)

But I believe that life is about choices.

I choose to always try to see the good in people or in a situation.

I choose to believe that things happen for a reason and that we are meant to learn from those events in order to grow.

I believe in the law of attraction – that what you put out, positive or negative, is what you will receive back.

And, I have chosen to rid my home of a television so I can choose precisely what I want to watch, read or learn about and when I want to consume it. – Talk about Choice!

I choose to look on the bright-side whenever possible –
embracing the Pollyanna principle.

In short, I choose Positivity.

If you need a break from ‘all bad news’,
If you want to be uplifted,
If you want to learn about issues toward which you can make a difference,

Join me here!

I’ll be posting:

  • Inspirational talks
  • Introducing you to inspiring people
  • Presenting points to ponder
  • Sharing my observations of life around me
  • Highlighting environmental and charitable groups who are working hard to try to make our global home more habitable

I hope you’ll join me and come to find this site as a welcome bit of sunshine –
the bright-side of the web.

Embrace your Inner Pollyanna and Choose to Stay Positive!
